How do you feel about paying a higher price to view previous issues of the same magazine to which you are already subscribed? Some publishers call it a “Plus” subscription, others may call it a “Bundle.” There are lots of package names, and they all charge you $5-$10 more per month to view back issues of the same magazine or to receive digital access.

That’s nonsensical.

We’re innovators in the industry and have always put subscribers first. Magazine subscribers prefer print with complimentary digital access. They also want something for their money that they can touch and have delivered to their home, not a forced feeding of digital blog posts on a screen so small they need a magnifying glass just to read the content. And, who knows, that print magazine sitting on the coffee table may one day be worth some serious collectable dollars, whereas digital content on someone else’s website holds zero future value to a subscriber.

We chose to give more to our subscribers because it made sense.

Registering Help

You need your subscription account number and the email associated with your account. Continue reading the FAQs below if you need either.

Just subscribed? Look for your 9-digit Account Number in your email receipt (may also be listed as “Membership Number”). Include any leading zeros, if any.

Current Subscriber? Obtain your 9-digit Account Number from the Baseball Digest Customer Service portal. Include leading zeros, if any.  Or, use this illustration to find your Account Number on your magazine address label in the second row from the top on the left. Be sure to input all 16 digits without the pound signs.

If you are entering a correct account number and get “account unknown” or something similar, log in to the Baseball Digest Magazine Account Portal to verify your account number and account email. If that fails, contact us with the problem and include your name and address.

You will need to either log in to the Baseball Digest Magazine Account Portal or call subscriber services at: (800) 829-0119. Please allow 1 business day for the email address change to be processed, although it may occur much faster.

If you have already registered on Baseball Digest Digital, visit the Baseball Digest Magazine Account Portal to obtain the email address associated with your subscription. If you forgot your password, use the “Forgot Password” link at Baseball Digest Digital. If you haven’t registered yet, enter your information on the “Activate My Account” page to get started.

Yes, if your Archive subscription is still active (expiration date in the future) you will only need to Register at the Baseball Digest Archive to set a new password using the same email address you used at the Archive. If you started or renewed your Baseball Digest print subscription on or after October 1, 2022, you have immediate access. Use the “Register” button in the navigation to get started.

We incurred significant costs launching Baseball Digest Digital to include the extra subscriber benefits without raising subscription prices. It is our intent to have subscribers interested in the added benefits to help offset our costs with their early renewals. That said, your print subscription won’t be affected in any way if you choose not to renew early. On the flip side, if you do renew early, these benefits open up for the entire length of your subscription, plus, of course, you get the extra time added to your subscription.
